Part of the Port Road Historic Commercial Precinct, 159 Port Rd is comprised of two distinct halves, to reflect the flexibility of tenanting available within.
Floors are serviced separately, to further facilitate this flexibility. The ‘divided’ approach also reduces the mass of the building in deference to the Heritage-listed Church adjacent. A central spine corridor connects Port Rd with the car-park, creating an internal street. Designed for easy demountability and recycling, 159 Port Rd achieved 5-Star As-Built Green Star certification, supported by careful detailing of the building skin, and finely-tuned and modelled sun-shading.
