The Murray Bridge Children’s Centre combines education, community development activities and health promotion in an integrated environment for children from birth to eight years of age.
The project involved the co-location of the existing Murray Bridge South Kindergarten to the campus of the Murray Bridge South Primary School. Hardy Milazzo created a 60 place integrated care facility also incorporating health and community facilities.
The centre has a fully landscaped play and outdoor learning area. Both internal and external aspects of the centre have been carefully considered to respect local and indigenous sensitivities.
The South Australia Government has adopted the Murray Bridge Children’s Centre as a model centre for their guidelines for design and delivery of Government operated children’s centres.
