ALDINGA GP PLUS

The recently completed Aldinga GP Plus consisted of the Design, Documentation and Contract Administration of a multi-purpose community health facility. Originally conceived as a regional consolidation of Primary Health Care facilities and services in the area, this modern new facility offers clinic spaces for various medical consultants, including: Noarlunga Health Services; Drug & Alcohol Services SA  and Royal District Nursing.

The facility also provides community group activity spaces and a crèche.

The building is of domestic scale and appearance in order to create a less institutionalised presentation to appeal to the local community.

The master plan for the site also takes into consideration the likely expansion of the proposed spaces and forms a cohesive focus for the community, providing clear safe pedestrian paths and controlled car and service vehicle access to the centre as a whole.
