The brief was to design a sophisticated, hi-tech, streamlined and progressive image for a company that was previously housed in relatively humble surroundings.

The new premises have approximately 5,000 sqm of lettable area distributed over 2 floors.

The design intention was to deliver a sophisticated building that reflects the culture of BAE Systems and subtly reinforces the company’s activities.

The client demanded a very high standard of design and space efficiency.

Clients and future customers are greeted with a five metre inward sloping glass canopy and a six metre high metallic ceiling space with terrazzo floors in Reception giving a sense of arrival to a very highly serviced complex building.
