TOWNSEND PARK LIFESTYLE VILLAGE

Hardy Milazzo has been involved in the planning, design and delivery of this 3-stage, multi-residential development within the grounds of the heritage-listed, historic Townsend House.

The first two stages involved the construction of 48 maisonette-style Independent Living Units in a 'gated community' type arrangement.
The third and largest stage involved the development of a further 12 maisonette-style units and a 3-storey, 47 unit apartment building. The overall complex enjoys access to a private dining room and lounge area, cinema, BBQ facilities in a courtyard setting, an activity space and spa, within the heritage building setting.

The architectural service also included co-ordination of landscaping, carparking and internal traffic movement, as well as some level of restoration of the existing heritage fabric.

Over the course of the project we developed close and open communication with the client, consultant and marketing team, resulting in a development which is enjoying a high profile and successful sales of units it is now considered a benchmark in retirement lifestyle living.
