WESTMINSTER SCHOOL – FORDER CENTRE & HASLAM LIBRARY

This new building replaces the previous Forder Sports Centre & Haslam Library. It more than doubles the size of the previous hall facility, used for sporting and School community activities.

The Haslam Library caters for the multitude of spaces required for modern learning and information gathering, reading areas, quiet and collaborative, teaching areas as well as integrated and separated technology access…. and of course areas for the library books.

The Forder Centre is a completely flexible hall space allowing all manner of indoor sports to be carried out, as well as strong outdoor connection to the adjacent play areas and oval via oversized roller doors, adding to the flexibility of the complex.

The building project encompassed many logistical issues including continued use, collaborative procurement and budgetary constraints due to funding limitations.

This multi purpose facility now forms the hub of the Junior School’s many activity areas.
